Project Buyer

On behalf of one of our clients witihin the oil & gas field, we are looking for a Project Buyer for a long term assignment. As a Project Buyer in the project team, you will be in charge of procurement packages and related activitites within the company. 

 Main accountabilities

  • Responsible for inquiries, bid clarification process, tender evaluation and selection of suppliers
  • Negotiation and follow-up of the procurement activities with subcontractors
  • Subcontract drafting
  • Subcontract change management, including following changes in schedule and cost, and issuance of Variation Orders
  • Subcontract administration, including reporting, invoice management, certificate handling and close-out formalization
  • Source and pre-qualify new suppliers in accordance with the Procurement strategy


  • 3-5 years of higher education, BSc or MSc in BA, Engineering, Contract Strategy or similar
  • Good verbal and written English
  • Commercial mindset and negotiation skills
  • Self-driven, good at analyzing a task, and planning required sub-tasks
  • Ability to take initiative and at execution in accordance with plan
  • Excellent communication and team player skills
