Cost Controller

For our costumer we are now looking for a Cost Controller with an eye for details, and strong technical accounting skills. Are you the one we are looking for?


Job description:

- Develop and maintain cost control processes, procedures, guidelines and tools

- Create individual Well AFEs in conjunction with Well Engineers

- Track and forecast expenditure on a daily basis during well operations

- Ensure estimated final well cost in accurate

- Carry out contract compliance and supplier invoices checks

- Monthly review of all expenditure with Well Operations Manager

- Focal point for department input to SE budget processes

- Stock and logistics management and accounting

- Provide necessary support and information to Finance as required

- Provide constructive challenge to well engineers with regard to costs

- Support JV Audit processes for Wells

- Prepare Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders in support of wells projects

- Check correctness of invoices

- Prepare updated cost input on a weekly basis for Wells Weekly report during operations



- Relevant Bachelor or Master degree within Accounting

- Experience as cost controller

- Track record of analytical excellence in support of key business decisions

- Experience in SAP and Pims would be beneficial, and highly competent in Excel

- Ability to take the initiative and work autonomously

- Strong technical accounting skills

- Analytical and systematic approach with an eye for details

- Open and effective communicator

- Fluent in English and Norwegian, oral and written
