On behalf of a client we are now looking for a Cost Controller. The right candidate has a relevant higher education, and a 3 – 5 year experience with cost control/project control. The person we are looking for has an eye for detail, good communication skills and is a teamplayer.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Timely delivery of reporting
- Alignment between cost and change controll database and Excel
- Prepare and provide input to appropriate experience transfer reports
- Tracking of expenditure and ensuring change control prosesser at followed.
- Prepare and collate updated project cost estimates, as well as Excel-spreadsheets
- Track and analyse cost data to establish trends, identify issues and put forward recommendations for improvements
- Work with contractors to ensure maximum accuracy for cost reporting
- Track, validate and report on Purchase Requisitions and Orders, Service Orders, Variation Orders and Invoice Payments
- Present cost performance or status when requested
- Prepare monthly cost reports
- Review and challenge contractor cost reports
Qualifications:
- Relevant formal higher education related to Project Management, Project Controls, Cost Engineering, Economics or Business Management
- Preferably over 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft365
- Beneficial with some PowerBI experience
- Experience of project management tools is beneficial (PIMS and Visma)
- Good communication skills and fluent language skills in Norwegian and English, both written and oral
- Experience with cross functional teamwork
