On behalf of an exciting client we are now looking for an Environmental Advisor. The right candidate has extensive, relevant experience, satisfactory language knowledge in both English and Norwegian and relevant formal education.
Main tasks:
- Responsible for relevant government applications and permits to D&W
- Contribute to relevant risk assessments
- Support in government correspondence
- Provide consulting in energy management and emission reduction
- Responsible for internal and external follow-up and reporting of relevant environmental parameters
- Ensure the follow-up and exercise of duty of care in relation to suppliers and rig owners
Qualifications:
- Relevant higher university degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Good knowlegde of NCS and European regulations and standards
- Requires extensive experience related to development of environmental impact assessments
- A high level of expertise and a thorough understanding of the oil and gas industry practices, the company’s need and general business conditions
- Is in full command of the English and Norwegian language
