On behalf of a solid client we are now looking for a HSSE Advisor, drilling and well, for an operational role. The right candidate has relevant experience, good language skills in English and Norwegian and has excellent IT-skills.
Main tasks and responsibilities :
- Provide professional HSSE advice, and act as support to the drilling and well-teams
- Develop, implement and monitor HSSE activity plans for selected drilling campaigns
- Work closely and proactive with Drilling Contractor(s) to promote a strong HSSE culture and performance
- Evaluate risk analyses performed by all service contractors
- Participate and/or facilitate risk assessments related to drilling activities
- Promote HSSE Risk awareness
- Prepare safety statistics and reports
- HSSE incident follow-up
- Establish and maintain bridging documents
- Provide input, coordinate and ensure delivery in due time
- Facilitate and prepare input to audit and verification program, in addition to participating in audits and inspections
- Work closely with HSSE Manager – Drilling and Well, and collaborate with other HSSE resources and teams to share best practices and improve HSSE performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree within relevant subject matter (technology, HSEQ, risk management etc.). Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including experience from HSSE role within drilling and well
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral, in both Norwegian and English
- Excellent IT-skills
